Beautiful Scars
This pine stump was salvaged from under a deck, long forgotten. With some sanding, a mahogany finish and copper leaf accentuating its imperfect cracks, this piece of wood has a second life.
Keys to Nowhere
A red cedar table inlaid with old skeleton keys and filled in with epoxy. After decades of no use, these keys found their final resting place where they can still be admired, and stories about what they unlocked can be imagined.
Sisters
These two natural wood tables come from the same large piece, where two trunks had grown together, leaving this hollow center between both of them. Keeping the natural separation, these were turned into a matching bartop set.
Spring Blossom
This pine coffee table resembled flower petals, and with layers of mahogany finish, it captured the gradient colors often found in pansy flowers. Keeping the fractures only enhanced the visual similarities to petals.
